Quest UI performance overhaul
The quest book renders far faster, especially on large quest lines; a new quest-icon cache mode (default: refresh at 16 FPS) can be tuned in the config. Follow-up fixes resolved visual glitches with quest lines and textures introduced by the overhaul.
Shipped in: BetterQuesting #257, BetterQuesting #255
Remove startup recipe map full-scans
Three startup passes that rewrote every recipe in the game (platinum sludge, the naquadah rework and the cerium line) have been replaced with recipes registered directly, and one Extra Bees platinum recipe now lives in Binnie itself. This should reduce server startup time.
Shipped in: Binnie #114, GT5-Unofficial #7756, GT5-Unofficial #7748, GT5-Unofficial #7743
Cache enum values across 13 mods
Cached frequently called enum .values() methods across BetterQuesting, BloodMagic, Draconic Evolution, EnderZoo, Et Futurum, LogisticsPipes, OpenBlocks, Steve's Factory Manager, Binnie, EnderIO, Jabba, Magic Bees, and Opis. This eliminates thousands of redundant array allocations during play.

Faster game startup via ASM rework
Rewrote and optimized the OpenComputers ASM class transformer, cutting its initialization time from 850ms to 100ms.
Shipped in: OpenComputers #177, OpenComputers #176
Faster guide startup by removing redundant reloads
Reduced guide reloads during game boot from three down to one by eliminating redundant refreshes. On Java 8 that cuts roughly 40 seconds off boot; on newer JVMs the difference is not measurable.
Shipped in: GuideNH #41, GuideNH #40
Optimize BlockInventoryMessage performance
Improved item merging logic and null handling in HoloInventory's BlockInventoryMessage for better performance. HoloInventory now requires GTNHLib 0.9.50 or newer.
Shipped in: HoloInventory #59, HoloInventory #56
ProjectRed model memory optimization
Gate rendering now builds two models instead of forty-eight, folding rotation into the translation and lighting step, which cuts ProjectRed's model memory use sharply.
Shipped in: ProjectRed #78, ProjectRed #77
Clean up redundant recipe removals
Added diagnostic logging to identify recipe removal calls that don't actually remove anything, then used those results to clean up 682 duplicate pipe recipes and numerous other redundant removal attempts across GT5 and IFU. Recipe loading at game start got about a second faster: the delayed crafting-recipe pass went from roughly 990 ms to 70 ms in a full-pack test.
Shipped in: GT5-Unofficial #7779, GT5-Unofficial #7773, GT5-Unofficial #7772, IFU #31
Faster fluid conduit transfers
Ender Fluid Conduits and Reservoirs do less redundant work each tick - fewer FluidStack copies and fewer fluid-ID lookups - so large fluid networks cost less CPU.
Shipped in: EnderIO #221, EnderIO #218
Remove unused event registrations
Cleaned up unused Forge event registration code in ArchitectureCraft, BuildCraft, Draconic Evolution, and Iron Chests.
Shipped in: ArchitectureCraft #30, BuildCraft #25, Draconic-Evolution #82, ironchest #34
VisualProspecting
#72 Optimized server startup performance by streamlining DimensionCache save/load operations. Large servers with extensive prospecting data will see significantly reduced loading times (from minutes to seconds). - @alppp
