Graves auto-equip all equipment types
Collecting items from a grave now automatically restores armor, baubles, GalactiCraft gear, and cosmetic armor to their correct slots. If the original slot is taken, the item goes into any other slot that fits it, then into your inventory - and stays in the grave if there is no room anywhere.

JourneyMap 6 support across mods
Full JourneyMap 6 support has been added to Navigator, VisualProspecting, ServerUtilities, TCNodeTracker, and GregTech while retaining compatibility with JourneyMap 5 and Xaero's Minimap. Ore veins, node tracking and power-failure sites now use native JourneyMap 6 markers, while fluid and claim coverage draws as native overlays, all with zoom-aware labels and icons.
Shipped in: GT5-Unofficial #7596, Navigator #20, ServerUtilities #333, TCNodeTracker #17, VisualProspecting #104, Share-Where-I-am #14
LATEX cable coating multiblock
Added LATEX, a new HV multiblock that coats IV+ cables with Elastic Supercomposite Rubber. It replaces the Basic Cable Coater and the Advanced Cable Coater I, II and III, which are removed from the game - any you have placed or are holding disappear. Cable recipes stay in the Assembler. An Elastic Singularity slotted into the controller upgrades it to UV tier and lets it take any number of Multi-Amp or Laser energy hatches; without one it takes a single Multi-Amp hatch and no laser. Rubber can no longer be duplicated through cable maceration recycling.

Spinmatron-2737
The Spinmatron-2737 is a new centrifuge for ZPM and beyond: a 17x17x17 multiblock with the controller at the front centre of the ninth layer, built in four structure tiers of Naquadah Alloy, Cosmic Neutronium, Infinity and White Dwarf Matter. It runs at 3x speed for 70% of the EU, gains 2 turbine slots per structure tier and 4 parallels per turbine tier, and skips any number of tiers, with overclocks capped at hatch tier + 1. It burns Kerosene at 10 L/s per recipe tier; Biocatalyzed Propulsion Fluid instead gives a 1.25x parallel multiplier. Light mode adds 100% speed but caps recipes at voltage tier - 3, Standard changes nothing, and Heavy divides parallels by 32 for 16x the EU, needs a tier 3 structure, and is the only way to run some recipes, including the space-time separation that moved off the Forge Hammer.
Light mode now keeps full parallels instead of losing some. Heavy mode used to powerfail on space-time separation, where the 16x cost overflowed an int. A stocking hatch feeding a Spinmatron duplicated fluids, and its recipes only accepted the "Any UV Circuit" item rather than any UV circuit. Turbines render the right way round however the controller is turned or flipped, turbine hatches place by survival autobuild, the tooltip lists the tier 4 structure it was missing, and the machine has sound effects.

recipes changed - 1 of these change(s). The steps are on the Before you update page.

The GT Coke Oven
GregTech now has its own Coke Oven: a 3x3x3 shell of Coke Oven Bricks with a hollow interior, a controller on the front centre and a Coke Oven Hatch that can replace any brick. It turns coal into coke and produces creosote oil, needs no power, and has its own recipes and NEI page. Right-clicking the controller with a container pulls creosote out. It replaced the Railcraft oven in the Industrial Coke Oven's own recipe, and Coke Oven Bricks now craft 3x3 into 2x2.
The rest of the cycle was fixes to it and to the industrial version: a controller that leaked its hatch list, fluids spilled when clicked with a bucket, hatch textures that did not update on a screwdriver right-click, an NPE when extracting from an empty oven, new casing textures, a tooltip that said Coke Oven Casings where it meant Coke Oven Bricks, and a projector that now auto-places every slice of the Industrial Coke Oven. The Railcraft Coke Oven's NEI page shows readable times.

#1758 Added assembler and beamcrafter recipes for crafting Unstable (Mobius Stable) ingots. Players now have additional late-game crafting options for this material. - @UltraProdigy

GT5-Unofficial
#4982 [rebuild required] Complete overhaul of High Temperature Gas-Cooled Reactor (HTGR): now provides alternative Europium and Americium fusion recipes, enables breeding of advanced materials, retiered to IV, and features dynamic fuel consumption and helium loss mechanics. Requires balancing during 2.8-2.9 development. - @Pxx500
- What to do: You have to rebuild your old HTGR. The reactor is a completely new and much larger structure made from casings that did not exist in 2.8.4, so take the old one down and build the new one from the NEI preview when you get there. It now runs at IV instead of LuV, needs a helium loop that slowly leaks, and takes new TRISO fuel. Your old TRISO and BISO pebbles are not removed and can be centrifuged back down.

#4970 [read before updating] PCB Factory upgrades are now separate sub-multiblocks that can be linked to a main PCB Factory using a data stick. This provides more flexible configuration and solves stability issues with the previous integrated design. - @guid118
- What to do: Your PCB Factory keeps its shape and does not have to come down. A bio chamber or cooling tower that was working in 2.8.4 stays linked and goes on working. From now on new upgrades are built as their own multiblocks and linked with a data stick, so if you ever tear the old cooling tower down you will have to build the new standalone version to get overclocking back.

#4065 Added GT Modular Armor system to replace IC2-dependent armor (jetpacks, nano, quantum). Armor consists of interchangeable frames (adding slots), energy cores (controlling capacity and tier), and augments (providing effects), unlocked from HV tier onward. - @FourIsTheNumber
...and 157 smaller change(s) in GT5-Unofficial, listed in the by-mod files.
