PCB Factory: upgrades become linked sub-multiblocks

PCB Factory upgrades are no longer part of the controller. Each one is now its own sub-multiblock, built separately and linked to the main factory with a data stick, which makes a partial or staged build possible and fixes the stability problems the combined structure had. If you have an existing factory, this is the change to read about before you next touch it.

Shipped in: GT5-Unofficial #5190, GT5-Unofficial #4970

Backhand offhand support across the pack

Backhand gives 1.7.10 a real offhand slot. Nothing in the pack knew about it, so every mod with a right-click interaction had to learn: without the adaptation the wrong item gets used, blocks get placed from the wrong hand, and held items render in the wrong place. The changes below are that adaptation, spread across the mods people interact with most.

Darkerer

  • #1 Darkerer is now properly supported on servers. Servers running Darkerer will require all connecting players to have it installed (so players can't avoid the difficulty increase), but players who want the extra challenge can install Darkerer even when connecting to servers that don't have it. This is a change from before, where servers could not enforce Darkerer on clients. - @glowredman
    • Technical: Removed client-side guard on config registration to enable server-to-client config sync; added GTNHLib as required dependency on CurseForge and Modrinth; modified connection validation to make Darkerer optional client-side when connecting to servers without it, but mandatory when the server has it installed, allowing servers to enforce the difficulty increase (changes in Darkerer and DarkererCore).
    • Note: Servers must have Darkerer installed for config to sync to clients; clients can optionally join non-Darkerer servers but must have mod if server requires it.
  • ...and 1 smaller change(s), see the full list per mod.

WarpTheory

  • #46 [read before updating] Warp event system now checks all bauble slots and scales event frequency/severity using Thaumcraft's warp counter. Grinning Devil Faceplate now reduces warp event severity for fortress armor. - @koolkrafter5
    • Technical: Updated WarpEventHandler and WarpHandler to iterate all bauble slots, integrate Thaumcraft warp counter scaling formula, and adjust event severity calculations.
    • What to do: Warp event frequency and severity have been rebalanced; expect warp events to scale differently with your total warp accumulation.
  • ...and 1 smaller change(s), see the full list per mod.

ModularUI2

  • #142 [read before updating] Restored ModularUI1 fluid transfer behavior where entire fluid cell stacks are moved instead of single cells. Resolves issues with fluid transfer in machines. - @AnsonYeung
    • Technical: Modified FluidSlotSyncHandler fluid transfer logic and updated en_US.lang localization to reflect MUI1 behavior.
    • What to do: Adjust any machines or workflows that relied on the changed fluid transfer behavior; fluid cells may now move in full stacks instead of one cell at a time.
    • Closes #25123, #25283
  • ...and 4 smaller change(s), see the full list per mod.

Et-Futurum-Requiem

  • #37 [check your build] Liquid physics updated to better match modern Minecraft: entities move horizontally in lava, items float up and move faster through all liquids, with motion adjusted by liquid depth. - @MalTeeez
    • Technical: Added mixins for BlockLiquid, Entity, EntityItem, and World to implement modern liquid physics including lava motion, item floatation, and depth-based velocity adjustment.
    • What to do: Existing builds may need adjustment as liquid physics for lava movement and item behavior have changed.
  • ...and 1 smaller change(s), see the full list per mod.

Nuclear-Control

  • #33 [check your build] Major refactor of Advanced Info Panel settings storage, API improvements, and bug fixes. Panel settings now use BitSet internally, scrollable settings area enlarged to prevent button duplication on minimize/restore, and fixed multiple display bugs. - @guid118
    • Technical: Replaced string-based panel settings with BitSet for better performance and safety. Removed IPanelAdvDataSource interface (functionality merged into IPanelDataSource). Updated native cards and display setting helper. Increased GuiScrollableList height. Added Javadoc.
    • What to do: Existing info panel configurations will be converted to the new BitSet format on next load; verify panel settings after updating.
    • Closes #21154

GTNH-TC-Wands

  • #31 [recipes changed] Refactored wand recipe system to use dynamic recipe handlers instead of pre-baking over 1000 recipes, significantly reducing server overhead. Rod and cap research is now required when crafting wands. - @koolkrafter5
    • Technical: Created GTNHWandRecipe and GTNHScepterRecipe classes to handle all wand/staff and scepter/stafter crafting dynamically. Removed WandDetails and WandProps complexity, refactored AbstractWandWrapper and subclasses to support the new recipe system. Now uses Salis Arcana's IMultipleResearchArcaneRecipe when available to show missing research.
    • What to do: Wand recipes now require rod and cap research before crafting; obtain the missing research in Thaumonomicon to craft new wands.
  • ...and 1 smaller change(s), see the full list per mod.

GT5-Unofficial

  • #7089 Reverted machine crash on output overflow. Machines will now queue outputs and wait for space instead of crashing when they overproduce, providing a better player experience. - @AnsonYeung
    • Technical: Removed output overflow crash logic from MTEMultiBlockBase and cleaned up ShutDownReasonRegistry and language strings that were added in PR #7060.
    • Closes #25231
  • ...and 78 smaller change(s), see the full list per mod.

  • #9 Updates Chinese language translations. - @ABKQPO
    • Technical: Updated zh_CN.lang language entries.

MouseTweaks (new mod)

  • #12 Mouse wheel transfer in MouseTweaks is now automatically disabled if NEI's mouse wheel transfer is active, preventing double-transfer of items. - @Alexdoru
    • Technical: Main class now checks NEI config state and disables MouseTweaks wheel transfer when NEI's is enabled to avoid conflicts.

RandomBoubles (new mod)

  • #6 Replaced pearl return crafting event logic with Enhanced Infusion Recipes (EIR) for ring crafting. Removed custom crafting event listener and consolidated recipe handling. - @LazyFlesh
    • Technical: Removed IPrimordialGemCrafting interface and EventHandler crafting listener; refactored ring classes to use EIR infusion recipes. Simplified ring item implementations by removing crafting return logic.

VillageNames (new mod)

  • #9 Removes gold color formatting from the mod name so it displays consistently across all UI elements. Fixes the version string that was showing as @VERSION@ placeholder. - @tiffit
    • Technical: Removes color codes from mod name in VillageNames class, fixes version interpolation in gradle.properties, and removes DevVersionWarning class and associated reference strings.
  • #3 Removes brewing stands from village generation. Villages will no longer have brewing stands when they are generated or added to the world. - @UltraProdigy
    • Technical: Adds brewing stand removal logic to all biome structure generators (DesertStructures, JungleStructures, PlainsStructures, SavannaStructures, SnowyStructures, SwampStructures, TaigaStructures) and adds configuration flag in VillageGeneratorConfigHandler.
